This is a non-supervisory position responsible for developing solicitations (RFPs, IFBs, Informal’s, Opens, etc.) and new contracts, executing contract amendments and renewals, and managing tasks related to the assigned Service Area(s). The role also involves seeking insurance requirements and approvals through the County's Office of Risk Management, maintaining and updating all contract database tracking tools to ensure timely completion, accurate reporting, and proper documentation of contract activities.
As the primary liaison between the HHS Contract Management Team (CMT), the Office of Procurement, and the assigned program Service Area(s), this position provides technical expertise, guidance to program staff, and serves as the subject matter expert on all contract-related matters for the assigned Program Service Area(s). The role also includes conducting contract training sessions for program monitors as needed.
Experience: Considerable (3 years) of professional experience in contract management, which may include project/program/grant management, research and development of contracting processes, or contract administration.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
